TERMS & CONDITIONS
The sale and supply of all products via the Quinteassential website is governed by the following terms and conditions:
1. Quinteassential Fine Teas
The Quinteassential website is provided by Quinteassential Fine Teas.
To place orders on this website indicates that you agree to be legally bound by all of the Terms and Conditions. In the event you do not agree to any Terms and Conditions, you should not place orders for our Products.
3. Changes to these Terms and Conditions
We may from time to time make changes to these Terms and Conditions. Any changes will be posted on our website and notified to you by means of a notice and links to the revised Terms and Conditions on our homepage. Please review these Terms and Conditions regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made by us. If you place orders for Products after changes are posted, changes of which you are notified, this will indicate that you agree to be legally bound by the Terms and Conditions as updated and/or amended. In the event you do not agree to any revised Terms and Conditions, you should not place further orders for Products.
4. Age Requirement and Accuracy of Information
You undertake to us that the details you give to us whilst using the web site are correct, in particular, the credit/debit card you are using is your own. If your details change, it is your responsibility to inform us via the website or by contacting us as set out in the Contact Us section at the end of these Terms and Conditions.
5. How the Contract is formed
All orders are subject to acceptance by us. After you place an order, we will acknowledge receipt of your order by sending you an order acknowledgement email. This acknowledgement email will not constitute our acceptance of your order. Your order will only be accepted by us once payment is received, at which point we will dispatch your order and send a shipping confirmation email.
Quinteassential will use its reasonable endeavours to keep copies of all contracts for orders placed for Products by you, but cannot guarantee that it will keep a copy of every agreement for an unlimited time. You should therefore keep a copy of these Terms and Conditions and the shipping confirmation email in relation to all purchases and keep a record of each transaction. Contracts with Quinteassential are concluded in English.
6. Prices and Payment
The prices for any Products ordered will be as quoted on our web site from time to time, except in the case of obvious errors. All prices are inclusive of VAT and the cost of delivery will be separately itemised at the Checkout based on the address details you have given.
Delivery charge for all standard orders is £3.95 and is normally delivered within five to seven working days, often much sooner.
Any spend in a single transaction over £50 will be entitled to free delivery within the UK.
If you have a query about delivery for a product which you have already ordered, please contact us by email or phone. We will be pleased to assist you with your query as soon as possible.
Returns and Exchanges
We take pride in giving a great service, and that includes efficient delivery. However, there are rare occasions where external factors completely outside of our control can delay a parcel, despite our best endeavours.
We hope that you are delighted with your order. However, if for any reason you are not entirely satisfied, you may return any item in its original condition for a full refund within 14 working days from delivery.
If the items listed on the dispatch note do not match those contained in your delivery, please notify us immediately by our Customer Services Team on: 01244 515 611 (Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm)
If you require a refund we will refund the price paid by you for the goods (exclusive of the initial delivery charge) within thirty (30) days of receiving your returned goods, provided that you have returned the goods to us in their original condition at our distribution centre within 14 working days of delivery. Refunds will only be made against the original credit/debit card used.
8. Ownership and Risk
We retain ownership of all Products ordered until they have been delivered to you. Ownership of and risk in all Products shall pass to you upon delivery.
9. Our Refund Policy
You may cancel your order at any time and for any reason within 7 working days of delivery of the Products ordered. (‘working’ days do not include Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays). Orders for certain Products may not be cancelled ñ these include: (a) Products that have been clearly personalised; and (b) Products that are perishable and have been opened, including all teas, blends and food products. If you wish to cancel your order you must notify us of your wish to cancel in writing and you must return the Product(s) to us (at your expense) in their original wrapping, intact and accompanied by all accessories and documentation which were part of the delivery. We will refund any monies paid to us in respect of a cancelled order within 30 days of receiving your notice of cancellation and having received the returned goods in their original condition.
10. Discounts and Promotions
Quinteassential reserves the right to withdraw any given discount or promotional activity at any time, without prior notice. Discounts and promotions are only applicable to online purchases at quinteassential.co.uk / qfineteas.co.uk unless otherwise stated. Discounts and promotions cannot be combined unless otherwise stated. All orders received by Quinteassential using discount codes or during promotional activities are all subject to the standard order terms and conditions without exception. All discounts and promotions are for personal use of Quinteassential customers only and must not be used for commercial or 3rd party promotional purposes.
