Full of idealism since young, Martine Batchelor was born in the town of Béziers, France. Realising it's better to change oneself before thinking of changing the world, she went to Korea at 18 to become an ordained nun. She shares with us her path less travelled and shed some light on Korean tea ceremony and Zen Buddhism.

A TEA JOURNAL IN 363 DAYS

Artist Ruby Silvious started a visual tea journal in 2015 to record her impression of the moment using used tea bags as her canvas. Breathing life into used materials and turning mundane objects into the extraordinary, to her the stains and different bag sizes add extra layer of contextual meaning to her art.
